Bonniefollett.com - About the Artist:
Bonnie Follett has lived in San Francisco for 25 years. She works in the legal field as a paralegal and has been admitted to the California Bar. She also does web design work, photography and graphics. She has been drawing, painting and photographing since she was a child.
Ms. Follett graduated with a fine arts degree from Mankato University in Mankato, Minnesota. Several years ago, she travelled in London, England, Paris, France, Ireland and Scotland, which served as inspiration for some of her paintings.
The artist has also spent time in Arizona and in the Midwest (North Dakota and Minnesota) where she has family connections. She grew up in Fargo, North Dakota.
My art focuses on things in the environment that I find beautiful, fascinating or inspirational. I am not often attempting to make any type of esoteric "statement" with my art or photos. Rather, I attempt to catch a moment or a time of day or a scenic view that is of interest to me. That is why many painting subjects tend to be landscape oriented. Nature, especially "wild" nature, provides the best of inspiration.
My drawings, digital art and lithographs tend to be rather whimsical, with a bit of the dark side exhibited on occasion.
